HiPPAG 500 supplies high-pressure dry air for pneumatic ejection of air-launched weapons. HiPPAG is installed on-board the aircraft platform, inside the bomb rack, aircraft pylon or weapons bay and is used to charge the accumulator. Compared to pyrotechnic cartridge based racks, pneumatic ejection racks are higher performance, cleaner, lighter, more reliable and cheaper to maintain. HiPPAG 520 and the higher flow HiPPAG 540 can be used for single or multiple rack support. The modular construction of the system gives a high degree of flexibility in the installation of HiPPAG.
